Grooving
Grooving is a process in which precise channels are cut into a pavement surface using water-cooled diamond blades. Grooving provides excellent traction and water runoff without affecting the integrity of the concrete in any way. Great for roadways, bridge decks, and agricultural applications. Grooving greatly improves water runoff on driving surfaces and reduces the potential risk of hydroplaning.
Our groovers are set up for several applications in different configurations:
-
High production machines for longitudinal grooving on highways.
-
Transverse grooving for bridge deck drainage.
-
Barn floors for dairy and beef cattle. Grooving greatly increases animal traction and reduces injuries to and loss of cattle.
